Coach Kevin Chiu

Coach Kevin Chiu was an elite point guard and leader for his team. He is the first person to go through the entire NorCal Rush program as a player and in the Fall of 2022 he has transitioned to coaching. His knowledge of the game is unparalleled, and his dedication to NorCal Rush matches that. In 2021 he led his NorCal Rush team to a finals win at the West Coast National Championship in Las Vegas. He has also been mentoring younger players since the inception of the club in 2017. Kevin has Varsity basketball experience in the Peninsula Athletic League (PAL), and truly understands how to transition AAU success to the high school game. Like his older brother, Chiu is a highly motivated coach, who represents our club well. NorCal Rush Founder & President, Zac Levine once called Kevin a “natural-born captain, with immense understanding of the game.”
