Coach Zac Levine
Coach Zac Levine has been a basketball player all his life. Playing on various local travel teams and attending National tournaments, AAU was no stranger to him. In early 2017 Coach Levine began his coaching career, starting at Burlingame Intermediate School. Levine knew immediately that he had found his true passion. Coach Levine founded NorCal Rush in the fall of 2017 with just one team, but by December he decided to expand the program. Since expansion, the club has grown to over 300 players and ten coaches. Zac's passion and his ability to connect with his players is unmatched in the Bay Area. Coach Levine served as the head coach of our class of 2023 team from its inception, and now is rebuilding the success he had there with our younger groups. Additionally, Coach Zac acts as an assistant coach for every NorCal Rush team. He attends nearly all practices and games, and fights for all of his players on and off the floor. Zac is a Burlingame High School graduate and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Sport Management from the University of Michigan, while he continues to coach and run his club.
“As a coach, my biggest asset to my players is teaching them how to persevere, because in basketball, like in life, everyone hits walls, but learning how to get through that wall is the most important skill I can teach.” - Zac Levine
